When in doubt, Craft it out

I’ve been feeling really funky today. I’m generally a pleasant person, but I’ve got some family drama { that I won’t bore you with, because I’m sure you have plenty } and it has me… sour. I can’t think of another way of putting it, either. So I decided to craft my blues away. I have some glass stones from my wedding that I decided to decoupage… but I don’t have my Mod Podge with me. So I found this “Dimensional Silicone” adhesive type stuff. So far it’s working just fine. The downside is that where Mod Podge is dry in a few hours, this takes 24. I don’t have that kind of patience, so I will be reminding myself for the rest of the day to leave the rocks alone.I apologize in advance for the poor quality of my pictures. I have a stupidphone and fluorescent lighting… yuck.

I am planning on making several variations of these monogrammed stones, different colors, patterns, maybe some paint… We’ll just have to see what I can come up with.

Well, I guess that’s all for now… Go do something you love.

About fromlondonwithlove2011

In no particular order, I am a Christian, a wife, a mother, a lab rat, a poet, a gardener, a craft goddess-in-training, a daydreamer, a painter, a doodler, a bookworm, a some day entrepreneur, a rock star, a super hero, a fixer, a coffee enthusiast, a music lover, a beach dweller, a treadmill dreader, and a would-be tree-hugger. I love beautiful things, and sometimes have a really different take on what's beautiful. I have a wonderful (albeit stressful) life that I wouldn't trade for anything in the world. Some days I want to pull the covers over my head and stay indefinitely, but other days I want to jump up and find something amazing to see/ do/ make. I want to share the things I am passionate about with other passionate people. And so it begins...

Leave a little love
